Hey ladies and gents, Josh here. I wanted to make a post to let you guys know about the long-awaited bass fly fishing handbook. The time has come, and it has finally been published. You may be wondering about the title, and why it says good news and bad news..
First, the good news is obviously that the book has finally been published. The best news is that instead of charging you guys for it, it is being given away 100% free! This means that you beginning bass anglers can sink your teeth into it and get a head start out on the water.
However, the bad news is that I am not publishing it here on Bass Fly Fishing. I’ve been working on another site that is going to encompass all of my favorite species, and will end up putting most of my time into that rather than continually working on this project. I may update over here from time, to time, but the updates on here are going to get fairly few and far in-between.
If you are interested in checking out my new project, or getting a copy of the eBook, head on over to Fishing Fool and look for it on the sidebar.
I’ll be putting up plenty of content on fly fishing for bass over there, and may eventually migrate this site into the bigger project. If you have any questions about the move, or how to get your hands on the book please feel free to use the comments, or drop me a line from my contact page and I’ll be glad to help you out.
Until next time, tight lines from the Fishing Fool!

I love throwing large, hard or soft bodied frog poppers for big bass. I’ll try to fish them at all times of the day, and under a wide variety of other fishing conditions where many anglers would think they wouldn’t work.
