Hey Spencer, sorry about that. My site's spam filter must have nailed it, or something. I replied to you over at http://fishingfool.org but in a short response, yeah I still love that rod. It's one of the best combos you can get for the money. The line holds up well, it's got a nice action to it, and it doesn't break the bank.

I wrote once, but maybe you did not get this. Do you still advocate the Cabela's Trad II combo as your rod and reel of choice? I am considering buying this or their upgrade that is replacing it.

Hey Danny. I've personally never heard of that fly, and the only results I could come up with were a fly nicknamed the magician that is used for trout. I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, but here is the link: http://idahoflytying.blogspot.com/2010/01/para-hopper-southeast-idaho-magician.html

I'll ask a few friends if they've heard of it, or may know how to tie it.

Thanks for stopping by! I took a look at the fly and it almost looks like a Lefty's Deceiver without the feathers left out. Lefty's Deceivers work great, and with the colors on the Fatal Attraction I can see it working pretty good. I've never actually fished it, so I may have to tie a few and give them a shot, myself.
